Sherbourne Fields School

JMS Engineers provided structural design services for the refurbishment of the hydrotherapy pool at Sherbourne Fields School, a specialist school for pupils with diverse needs. Collaborating with IDP Architects, JMS faced the challenge of working within existing infrastructure.

The project involved designing a fully refurbished pool, making alterations to the roof, creating new openings for improved light and accessibility, and repairing building fabric defects. The refurbished pool, essential for the pupils' therapy, was designed to be both robust and aesthetically pleasing.

The project ensures the pool will continue to serve the school and the wider community effectively for years to come.
