A well-earned night off for our engineering teams

With projects delivered across residential, commercial, civil and structural engineering throughout the year, the Christmas party offered a chance for colleagues from both businesses to relax, catch up, and celebrate the work achieved together. From civil engineers and structural engineers to project support and admin teams, it was a rare opportunity for everyone to be in the same place at the same time - without a programme deadline attached.

Milsoms Kesgrave Hall delivered as expected, with great food, a lively atmosphere, and just enough festive sparkle to remind us that Christmas is, in fact, happening.

Celebrating collaboration across JMS Engineers and GC Robertson

Although JMS Engineers and GC Robertson operate as distinct practices, collaboration sits at the heart of how both teams work. The Christmas party reflected that shared culture - one focused on communication, practical problem-solving, and strong working relationships.

Away from project meetings and technical discussions, the evening allowed colleagues to connect on a more personal level, strengthening the relationships that underpin successful engineering projects throughout the year.

The night also offered a chance to reflect on what has been a busy and productive year. Across 2025, JMS Engineers and GC Robertson have supported clients with:

No Christmas party would be complete without a bit of festive chaos, and this one delivered. From lively conversations to dancefloor enthusiasm (technical ability varied), the night struck the right balance between professional celebration and seasonal fun.

Importantly, it also highlighted something both companies value highly - a positive team culture. One where people enjoy working together, support one another, and can still have a laugh after a long year.
